Hey Rinfela, I found the 'Memrise' app, really helpful for at least learning to read Hiragana, it's like two weeks' efforts at most. It has higher level stuff too.
I'm not advertising, it's really good., and it's free anyway. Just thought I'd post this here, because it's a really good app (and duolingo doesn't cover Japanese yet :/ )merged: 05-17-2017 ~ 04:32pm
Alright so I have up on memrise after learning kana last year.
But I've found a new app called kanji senpai where I'm just srs rote learning kanji. Mostly focusing on reading ability rather than writing. -

No, I mean the previous Mini-lesson posts in the Group Announcement forum. I do not see Mini-lessons 1 thru 5 because they are archived. Are they linked somewhere that I can see them? Apologies if I have missed the links some place.

I know.... I'm sorry. During the school year it's kind of difficult for me to get the lessons together, since I've got my students lessons to worry about... and I know that Cheri is also busy with work. I'll try and throw up something for colors. But definitely keep sharing the love and using the language as much as you can!
